This week I learned that I have been an internet thief since I started taking pictures from google in middle school, but I am on the road to redeem myself!

After reading our Copyright and Copyleft article, learning about Creative Commons, understanding what attribution means and then watching the Girl Talk documentary (highly recommend Remix Manifesto), I can now say I have the tools to borrow internet resources legally.  What I am learning through my journey of redemption is there are a lot of rules. I am learning life has a lot of rules…

As a teacher, I can model and start teaching a younger generation of tech savvy students how to borrow and credit the appropriate contributor.  They will all grow up knowing #photocred on social media and now I can share this idea far and wide.
